The NYPD is investigating two men, Akeem Brown and George Smith, posing as car salesmen on Facebook Marketplace in New York City, who have committed at least nine robberies since December. The suspects arranged to sell cars to victims through the platform, threatening them with weapons, stealing valuables and cash. The NYPD asks for any information through their Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
