The Nigerian Customs Service held a workshop for AMDON, the Association of Motor Dealers of Nigeria, to inform them about the 90-day window period from March 4, 2024, for regularising import duties on specific vehicle categories. AMDON's chairman in Sokoto State, Alhaji Mansur Zagi, urged the Federal Government to lift restrictions on vehicle imports through land borders, claiming they have caused economic damage and insecurity in the Northwest region.
