MOL held a naming ceremony for LNG carrier Greenergy Ocean, first of six for CNOOC under 2022 long-term charter.
MOL held a naming ceremony for the newbuilding LNG carrier, Greenergy Ocean, serving China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC). The Greenergy Ocean is the first vessel under a long-term charter contract for six newbuilding LNG carriers signed in January 2022. After delivery in May, it will transport LNG procured globally, primarily to China. The remaining five vessels are set to be delivered between 2024 and 2026.
