Mexican-born entrepreneur Miguel Leal and two friends founded SOMOS Foods, a company producing ready-to-eat non-GMO and gluten-free Mexican products. SOMOS Foods, established only two years ago, is already sold in 9,000 retail stores nationwide, including Whole Foods. Leal initially wanted to pursue a career in engineering, but his love for Mexican food led him into entrepreneurship.
