Khazanah Nasional Bhd and EPF announce a RM18.4bn takeover offer for Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd, aiming to delist by Q4.

Khazanah Nasional Bhd and the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) have announced a takeover offer for Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) at a total value of RM18.4 billion, aiming to acquire all shares not already owned by the consortium. The plan is to delist MAHB by the fourth quarter of the year. The consortium includes Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and Global Infrastructure Partners, and upon completion, Khazanah will increase its ownership in MAHB to 40% and EPF to 30%, resulting in Malaysian investors owning 70% of MAHB.
