A gas leak from a freight train in Inverness led to the evacuation of the Eastgate shopping centre and nearby Morrisons supermarket, and railway lines were closed. Gas distribution firm SGN reported that they are responding to a gas escape from a train carrying tanks, which supply their network. All ScotRail services in and out of Inverness station have been cancelled until further notice, and emergency services are in attendance.
