IIT Madras has placed over 80% of BTech/Dual-Degree students and over 75% of Master's students this year, with 1,091 students placed in 256 companies during phase I and II of campus placements. 44 international offers and 183 offers from start-ups were also made. Core sector jobs secured 43% of the placed students, followed by software (20%) and analytics/finance/consulting/data science (less than 10%).
