Amazon Web Services (AWS) CEO Adam Selipsky is stepping down, effective June 3, and will be succeeded by Matt Garman, the current head of sales and marketing for AWS. Selipsky has led AWS since 2021, overseeing the company's growth during the pandemic. Under his leadership, AWS reported its strongest sales growth in a year, with sales at $143.3bn in the first quarter of 2022, surpassing the Street consensus estimate.
