34-year-old UK man, Daniel Johnson, sentenced to 6.5 years for smuggling €1.1M worth of cocaine at Dublin Airport.
A UK man, Daniel James Johnson (34), has been sentenced to six and a half years in jail after being caught at Dublin Airport with over 16 kilos of cocaine in his luggage, valued at €1.1 million. Johnson admitted to one count of importing cocaine at Dublin Airport on September 28 last year. He claimed not to have packed the bag or booked his flights, stating he was due to be paid a certain amount of money for the task.
