A patient, Sulochana (57), tragically burned to death after an ambulance carrying her crashed into an electric post and caught fire in Kozhikode, Kerala on May 14. The ambulance was transporting Sulochana from Malabar Medical College Hospital to Aster MIMS for surgery. The patient's husband, doctor, two nurses, and driver were also in the vehicle, but they narrowly escaped with minor injuries.
