2 people died in a small plane crash near Marianna, Arkansas en route from Florida to Batesville.

2 people were killed in a small plane crash near Marianna, Arkansas on Sunday night. The privately-owned plane, traveling from Florida to an airport in Batesville, was found in a field 12 miles southeast of the city limits at around 9:30 pm. The victims, identified as 72-year-old Joseph Bryant and 73-year-old Sharon Bryant, were the only two people on board. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the cause of the crash.
