89-year-old Austrian rapist Josef Fritzl, who imprisoned his daughter for 24 years, can be moved from psychiatric detention to a regular prison, a court ruled. The court stated that Fritzl no longer poses the kind of danger that requires keeping him in psychiatric detention, but "special preventive reasons" mean he cannot be released from prison. Fritzl's lawyer, Astrid Wagner, plans to apply for his conditional release within a year of his transfer.
