UNC Chapel Hill board votes to dismantle DEI programs.

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Board of Trustees has voted to cut funding for diversity programs by $2.3m, diverting the money to policing and public safety measures. The decision comes after recent protests on campus and follows a trend of other US universities reallocating diversity spending towards other priorities. The changes will take effect from July 1st.
