11th season of New Zealand's The Block cancelled due to WBD restructuring, no longer funding local shows.

The New Zealand version of The Block has been cancelled ahead of its 11th season due to Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) restructuring, which no longer includes funding local shows. The popular TV show, which first aired in 2012, faced record-low profits in its most recent season with the winning couple netting only NZD4,000. The Block Australia has been more successful, with the most recent 19th season seeing winners take home a record-breaking profit of AUD1.65 million.
