Terran Orbital receives subcontract from Lockheed Martin to produce 18 satellite buses for the Space Development Agency project.

Terran Orbital, an Irvine-based satellite company, has received a sub-contract from Lockheed Martin to produce 18 satellite "buses" for the Space Development Agency project. The contract follows Lockheed Martin's withdrawal of its acquisition offer for Terran Orbital in March. This deal brings the total under contract to 106 satellite buses, with Lockheed Martin accounting for 81% of Terran Orbital's backlog.
