Pakistan's National Assembly has announced that accreditation exams for foreign-qualified doctors will be held twice a year in June and December. The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council has redesigned the exam format and lowered the passing benchmark from 70% to 60%. The Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Azam Nazeer Tarar, emphasized the importance of accreditation tests for international degree holders, particularly concerning human lives.
