Mississippi man Ivory James Welch III, suspected of killing his mother, Ida Thomas Welch, 76, and two sisters, Vicky Renee Welch, 56, and Crystal Lynn Welch, 42, on Mother's Day was killed in a gunfight with Arizona state troopers. The victims were found at their Ridgeland home after a welfare check was requested. Welch fled to Arizona before being located by troopers, leading to the deadly shootout.
