Global jobs site Indeed plans to cut 1,000 jobs, about 8% of its workforce, as it moves to simplify operations. The majority of job cuts, focused on R&D and go-to-market teams, will take place in the US. While Ireland is home to Indeed's European headquarters, it is unclear how many Irish jobs will be affected. CEO Chris Hyams stated that the reductions were not driven by cost-cutting measures, but to streamline the organization and improve decision-making and growth.
