Iowa women's basketball coach Lisa Bluder announced her retirement after 24 years leading the Hawkeyes. Her longtime assistant, Jan Jensen, was named her successor. Bluder coached the Hawkeyes to the last two NCAA championship games and led the team to 18 NCAA appearances. A retirement statement on the Hawkeyes' website highlighted her 884 career wins and two consecutive NCAA final appearances.
