FBCCI President Mahbubul Alam believes Bangladesh and Turkey can serve as trade gateways between Europe and South/Southeast Asia, leveraging their geographic advantages and expanded relations in trade and investment. In FY22-23, Bangladesh exports to Turkey reached $495.81m, and imports totaled $380.3m. Future cooperation areas include pharmaceuticals, tourism, jute, and technology.
