Ukrainian PM welcomes EU's 1-year extension of preferential trade with Ukraine.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal welcomed the European Union's extension of preferential trade with Ukraine for another year, as the suspension of import duties and quotas on Ukrainian exports to the EU supports the country's producers, exports, and economy. The Council of the EU approved the suspension of import duties on Ukrainian exports for another year, following the implementation of preferential trade measures in June 2022. EU imports from Ukraine amounted to 22.8 billion euros in 2021.
