EU Agency for Fundal Rights reports LGBTIQ individuals face increased physical/sexual violence despite less discrimination.

The European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) reports that although LGBTIQ individuals experience less discrimination in the EU compared to three years ago, they face an increase in physical or sexual violence. The online survey, which involved over 100,000 LGBTIQ participants, found that 14% of respondents reported being attacked in the five years preceding the study, an increase from the previous 11%. Intersex and transgender individuals were found to experience the highest rates of violence.
