Canadian parliamentary committee recommends addressing AI's impact on worker rights and privacy.

The report calls for assessing whether existing federal labour legislation can protect workers' rights amid AI adoption, and for the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada to investigate how AI affects worker privacy. The committee also suggests Employment and Social Development Canada should support ethical AI adoption and invest in skills training to help the Canadian workforce adapt to new technology.
