Cambodia Angkor Air begins direct Phnom Penh-New Delhi flights on June 16, aiming to boost tourism and medical tourism.
Cambodia Angkor Air is set to launch the first direct flight between Phnom Penh and New Delhi from June 16, operating four times a week. Koy Kuong, Cambodia's Ambassador to India, anticipates a doubling of tourist flow year-on-year and increased medical tourism due to the direct flight connection. Prior to the pandemic, India had around 75,000 annual visitors to Cambodia, which decreased to 45,000 in 2021.
