A British man is ordered to pay $125,000+ in retroactive child support for an autistic child from a brief relationship.
A British man has been ordered to pay over $125,000 in retroactive child support by a B.C. judge, following a brief intimate relationship. The mother of the autistic child, E.S., was awarded $1,957 monthly payments, dating back to Dec. 1, 2018, based on an international child support agreement law. The order, under the Interjurisdictional Support Orders Act, will require reciprocation from a British court.
