British Embassy in Spain urges remaining Green Certificate holders to apply for TIE before EU's Entry Exit System launch.

The British Embassy in Spain is urging British expats still holding a Green Certificate to apply for a TIE (Tarjeta de identidad de extranjero) before autumn, when the EU's new Entry Exit System (EES) is expected to launch. The TIE is a biometric ID card proving right to reside and work in Spain as a Withdrawal Agreement beneficiary. Most British residents in Spain have already exchanged their Green Certificates for TIEs after Brexit.
