17-year-old boy on a scooter was killed by a suspected drunk driver who fled the scene, but later returned and was arrested in Long Beach. The incident happened at 12:40 a.m. on Orange Avenue and South Street. The suspect, 35-year-old Karen Mativa, was later booked on suspicion of driving under the influence, hit and run resulting in death or injury, and gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
