Vodacom Group, a South African telecom firm, reported a 26.4% revenue increase to R151bn ($9.5bn) for the year ended 31 March 2024, driven by the acquisition of Egypt and new services. The company's EBITDA rose 24.3% to R56.11bn ($3.4bn) and serves a combined 203.1 million customers. Financial services revenue increased by 32.2% to R13bn ($785m), contributing 10.8% to service revenue. Vodacom aims to spend 13%-14.5% of overall revenue on capex to improve customer experience through tech and network investments.
