US private equity firm Warburg Pincus fully acquires Shriram Housing Finance Ltd (SHFL) for Rs 4,630 crore, largest M&A deal in India's housing finance sector. Warburg Pincus plans to expand presence in affordable housing market, SHFL management led by Managing Director Ravi Subramanian to join and continue leading the business. SHFL has 155 branches and assets under management of Rs 13,762 crore.
