University of Queensland study finds no effect on beef taste in cattle fed asparagopsis, a methane inhibitor.

University of Queensland research shows that asparagopsis, a methane inhibitor, does not affect beef taste in cattle fed the additive. A tasting panel couldn't detect any differences in 26 sensory properties, suggesting incorporating the methane-reducing additive into animal diets won't harm beef flavor. This research supports efforts to reduce carbon emissions in Australian agriculture.
