UK considers banning new gas-powered motorcycle sales by 2040 as part of net-zero carbon plan.

The UK government is considering banning sales of new gas-powered motorcycles after 2040 as part of its net-zero carbon emission plan by 2050. The Department of Transport may announce this in the coming days, possibly in line with other plans to phase out gas-powered cars, mopeds, and vehicles. Electric motorcycle sales currently represent 2% of all motorcycles sold in the UK.
