Researchers discovered a new "fiery, glowing red" exoplanet with intense volcanic activity similar to Jupiter's moon Io. This rocky planet, about a third larger than Earth, is located in a known star system 66 light years away from the Sun. NASA's Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) captured signals of the exoplanet, which has active volcanoes making its surface hotter than some stars.
