Police Scotland to send embezzlement investigation file involving Nicola Sturgeon's husband, Peter Murrell, to prosecutors within weeks.

Police Scotland Chief Constable Jo Farrell confirms that the investigation into embezzlement of party funds involving Nicola Sturgeon's husband, Peter Murrell, will see a file sent to prosecutors within weeks. Murrell was charged in connection with Operation Branchform, launched in 2021 over SNP donation use complaints. The Crown Office will receive the report and decide on court proceedings.
