2 people died in a house fire in Auckland's Hillpark suburb, with a third survivor hospitalized. A man driving by, Jonathan Asafo, helped save the survivor as the fire raged. Firefighters extinguished the blaze by 9:45am, but remained at the scene. Five crews and one command unit responded to the well-involved house fire in Freshney Place.
