Canadian bus manufacturer NFI Group secures a contract with NJ Transit Corp. for up to 1,300 Xcelsior transit buses, with an initial order of 175 buses and an option to purchase 1,125 more. The new buses will replace aging vehicles in NJ Transit's fleet and offer improved safety, accessibility, and efficiency compared to previous models. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
