On May 12, Eugene Springfield Fire (ESF) responded to an apartment fire at the 1000 block of J Street, Springfield. Firefighters arrived at 5:17 PM and discovered smoke from a second-floor apartment, successfully containing the fire after initiating a hose for firefighting and search operations.
