JUPITER, Europe's greenest supercomputer, tops the Green500 list as its first module, JEDI, claims the top spot in energy efficiency. Developed by a German-French consortium, JUPITER addresses the rising demand for computing power and energy due to digitalization and AI use. The JUPITER Exascale Development Instrument, installed in April, has the same hardware as its forthcoming booster module.
