Jordan has requested Iraq to extend its oil supply deal, as the current MoU expires on May 4. Jordan imports 10,000 barrels of oil daily from Iraq, meeting 7% of the kingdom's crude oil needs. Jordan's Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has sent a letter to Iraq's Oil Ministry, requesting a three-month extension. The ministry is following up with the Iraqi side and the Jordanian embassy in Baghdad for necessary approvals.
