Fire at Katong terrace house gutted front, damaged two neighboring units, no injuries.
A fire broke out at a terrace house in Katong on Monday, gutting its front and causing damage to two neighboring units. Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) firefighters used seven water jets at the height of the operation to put out the fire, which was largely contained; however, two houses adjacent to the affected unit were also damaged. No injuries were reported as all occupants evacuated before SCDF's arrival.
