EPFO India expands auto-mode system for education, marriage, and housing claims, doubling limits and reducing claim settlement time.
EPFO in India expanded its auto-mode system to cover advance claims for education, marriage, and housing, processing claims under para 68K and 68B of the EPF Scheme. The limit for these claims has doubled from Rs 50,000 to Rs 1,00,000. The auto-claim solution, introduced on May 6, 2024, has approved 13,011 cases worth Rs. 45.95 crores, reducing claim settlement time from 10 days to 3-4 days.
