34-year-old South Korean tourist, Roh Eui Jong, was reported missing in Bangkok on May 7. His mother received a ransom call demanding 3 million baht for his release. Authorities discovered his body in a black plastic barrel at the Mabprachan Reservoir in Chon Buri, Thailand on May 11. Police have identified two suspects, with one having fled the country and the other still at large in Thailand.
