2023: Nyesom Wike, former Rivers State Governor and current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, has admitted to making a mistake in his judgement of Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State. Speaking at a civic reception in Ogu-Bolo, Rivers State, Wike apologized to the people of the state for his mistake and asked for their forgiveness. He also promised to correct the mistake at the appropriate time, stating that he is human and bound to make mistakes.
