4th Indian national Amandeep Singh charged in BC with 1st-degree murder and conspiracy in 2021 Sikh activist Hardeep Singh Nijjar's killing.

Police in British Columbia have charged a fourth Indian national, Amandeep Singh, in last year's killing of Sikh activist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Singh, 22, was already in police custody in Ontario for unrelated firearms charges. The evidence in the Nijjar case was deemed sufficient for the BC Prosecution Service to charge Singh with first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder. This marks the fourth arrest in connection with Nijjar's murder, which has sparked tensions between Canada and India.
