1st UK zoo, Dudley Zoo and Castle, receives autism-friendly accreditation from Dimensions.

Dudley Zoo and Castle becomes first UK zoo to receive autism-friendly accreditation from Dimensions, a leading learning disability and autism support organization. The zoo has received free training for staff and plans to hold its first autism-friendly quiet morning on May 19. All music and background sounds in indoor areas will be turned off for two hours, and the site's land train will begin running later.
