Sony reportedly created a new internal studio using former Deviation Games employees after the latter's closure. The new studio, led by Jason Blundell, may be working on an undisclosed new IP for PS5. Deviation Games, founded by Blundell and Dave Anthony in 2020, had announced a partnership with PlayStation during the 2021 Summer Games Fest, but closed in March 2024.
