Sindh's police begin electronic tagging of habitual criminals in Karachi under Chief Minister's directive.

Sindh's IGP Ghulam Nabi Memon announced that police officers are training in electronic tagging of criminals, as per Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah's directive. The e-tagging pilot project will use 4,000 devices for habitual criminals in Karachi, which faces 400 daily street crime incidents. The police also arrest suspects in robbery-related violence and install surveillance cameras to tackle drug peddling.
