Queensland proposes reforms to regulate assisted reproductive technology companies more strictly, granting the state health service inspection rights and powers to suspend or cancel non-compliant IVF clinic services. Legislative changes will bring Queensland in line with other states and jurisdictions, also introducing a donor conception register. Health Minister Shannon Fentiman emphasized the importance of ensuring these companies provide safe services.
