Nigerian track star Tobi Amusan broke the world record in the 100m hurdles at the Jamaica Athletics Invitational, finishing with a time of 12.40 seconds. This marks a new world lead, surpassing previous record holder Tonea Marshall's 12.42 seconds. Amusan bested world champion Danielle Williams, who finished second with a time of 12.46 seconds, and American Christina Clemons, who ranked third with 12.54 seconds.
