NAFDAC dismantled an illegal alcohol factory in Badagry, Lagos, seized over N50m in products, and arrested owner Mr Chinedu Okafor with Nigerian Army's aid.
NAFDAC, Nigeria's food and drug regulator, dismantled an illegal alcohol factory in Badagry, Lagos State, to combat the production of fake and substandard products. The factory's owner, Mr Chinedu Okafor, was arrested and his illicit products, estimated at over N50 million, will be destroyed. NAFDAC was aided by the Nigerian Army's 15 Field Engineering Regiment in Badagry during the operation.
