Former Metropolitan Police officer Pc Andrew Gatt has been barred from the force after allegedly striking a teenage girl during a visit to her home in 2022. A two-day hearing found that Gatt breached the standards of professional behaviour "in regard to use of force and discreditable conduct." Gatt resigned from the force in May and will be added to the barred list, preventing him from being involved in policing.
